My name is Manca Kaplan — a photographer and creative director drawn to people, wild places, and the stories that unfold between them. Based in Slovenia, I’m inspired by open landscapes, natural light, horses, and the kind of moments that feel completely unforced.

I got into photography because I’ve always been drawn to the feeling behind an image. For me, a photograph isn’t just about how something looks — it’s about remembering how a place felt, the light at a certain hour, the movement, the connection, and all the little things you might otherwise forget.

My work sits somewhere between lifestyle, editorial, and the outdoors. I’m drawn to imagery that feels honest, atmospheric, and a little bit wild. Whether I’m photographing a couple somewhere in the mountains, a story unfolding on open land, or creating imagery for a brand, I want the photographs to feel like they belong to the people and places they came from.

Working with me is relaxed and intentional. I’ll come prepared, give you direction when you need it, and leave plenty of room for things to happen naturally. I’m interested in creating photographs that don’t feel overly posed or perfect — just real, beautiful, and true to you.
